Had the most amazing stay, everything was so clean and every tiny detail was thought of. Watching the badger cam at 8 was one of our favourite things. Jane was really friendly and helpful. We will 100% be back again! Highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay at the Little House. We managed to see badgers, foxes, deer, and a polecat, along with the resident ducks and chickens!

Had a fabulous stay at Jane & Nick’s gorgeous property. The hosts were exceptional and couldn’t do enough for us- really made my partner’s birthday celebration extra special with the treats provided on check-in- thank you!
The property itself is truly one of a kind. Amazing setting and the badger-cam was the cherry on top. The Devil’s Punchbowl trail was also easily accessible by foot direct from the property which was ideal.

If you're looking for a wonderful, perfectly equipped, peaceful place to stay then look no further! Jane & Nick are fabulous hosts and nothing is too much for them.
The wildlife is amazing. Birds, reptiles, fish, bees, badgers, deer, rabbits, horses- you'll see them all
there if you wish to.
There are plenty of places to go to and things to do. There are also plenty of lovely dog friendly pubs all around the area!

A great place to get away from it all and Jane is a great host.

Beautiful little cottage with a lovely view. Neatly maintained and complete, and a very friendly hostess. The dog could enjoy being outside in the enclosed garden.
The small personal touches make you feel extra welcome, and the bread with jam, honey and eggs was super tasty.
Even various walks have already been neatly prepared, which was very convenient. In short, the perfect place to stay!

A lovely stay at Jane’s Airbnb. The place was equipped with everything that we needed. The badger cam was rather exciting! The only downside is that we couldn’t spend more time here! Will definitely come again! The brownies were also delicious!

If you're looking for somewhere to truly switch off, this little house is a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by peace, quiet and beautiful countryside views that seemed to slow time itself.
The gardens are alive with nature – birdsong from dawn until dusk, butterflies and dragonflies dancing through the air, elegant white doves, friendly hens and ducks, a tranquil fish pond, and badgers making their evening appearance. It feels like stepping into your own private nature reserve.
There are wonderful walks right from the doorstep, making it the perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside or simply enjoying the calm.
Our host was exceptionally responsive, welcoming and helpful throughout, making everything effortless.
If you need somewhere to recharge, reconnect with nature and enjoy genuine tranquillity, this place is simply magical.

Just home from my third stay and my friends first stay and we both loved it. So peaceful, beautiful surroundings and so much wildlife around. Jane and Nick go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home, nothing is too much trouble.

We had the most relaxing time in Jane’s beautiful home. The attention to detail is of the highest standard. Little touches everywhere to ensure we had the very best stay.
Jane and Nick were so friendly and accommodating. A very informative welcome pack was sent in advance to help plan our stay and a hamper of treats/ fridge filled with basics for us and our dog on arrival. The honey was very special!
Peaceful evening’s wildlife watching and very comfortable furnishings meant we left fully refreshed.
We will definitely return when there isn’t a heatwave to enjoy the walks in the unspoiled countryside more than the weather allowed this time.

This place is almost perfect. The Little House is perfect. It is in the most wonderful setting if you wish for quiet, rural beauty and the hosts are just the loveliest people you could ever wish to meet. There is nothing that can be improved upon. I was so sad to leave.

The Little House could not be better. Jane is such a warm and welcoming host and has thought of everything you might want or need. And it’s all such good quality and considered - the kitchen knives are really sharp, the bed linen crisp, there’s a space to stash your unpacked bags. There is a wealth of information provided before and during your stay, and a wonderful welcome pack (sparkling water in the fridge! Bantam and duck eggs! Local strawberries!) and a much appreciated birthday banner.
We loved seeing the badgers and foxes on the badger cam and from the garden. Meeting the chickens and ducks was a privilege - Frank the runner duck is such a character!
It’s a beautiful and peaceful setting to unwind, sleep really well and enjoy the lovely countryside. The sculpture park and lunch at Bel & the Dragon is a great day out. I wish we had stayed a day or two longer and will definitely be returning. Thank you, Jane, Nick and Pip the dog x

Myself, my partner and our 4 year old chocolate Labrador, Chester, stayed at The Little House for a few nights and had such a lovely stay.
Jane greeted us on arrival and instantly made us feel comfortable and welcome. The Little House itself was spotless, cosy and homely, with lots of thoughtful little touches throughout.
The enclosed garden was perfect for us and exactly what we look for when taking Chester away but is rarely an option so this was just a great find! Chester would often take himself outside to lay in the sun and we knew he was safe and couldn’t wander off. We loved how peaceful and quiet the surroundings were, and during our stay we spotted deer, badgers, foxes and lots of rabbits.
We also loved the badger cam that we could watch from inside- it was so relaxing in the evenings watching the badgers and foxes.
Such a lovely and relaxing place to stay, just perfect. We will absolutely be coming back again in the future. Thank you again, Jane

The location and the cottages were 6-star quality! The cottage is beautifully decorated, and the location is sublime if you love nature. I have never met a host who pays such attention to detail. Really everything was there! We would love to come back!

From our initial reservation to check out, our wonderful stay was the most stress free experience we’ve ever had when arranging a trip. Thank you Jane.
Jane and Nick provide a fantastic, very well equipped home, with local information in an easy to read guide book, from how the tv worked, lighting the log burner to printed maps for local walks all right there on the doorstep and so much more.
We were welcomed by Jane in person and shown where everything is including a beautiful welcome basket with fresh duck and chicken eggs, bread, jam, honey form their own bees, even Jess our dog had a welcome hamper.
A badger set just a few yards from the door has Badgercam pictures streamed straight to a separate tv, endless wildlife on view out of the window including a pond and Jane’s ducks and chickens.
If you were asked to list all the things you’d like to have on a trip away…don’t bother, Jane’s already done it and provides it so generously at The Little House.

A wonderful, peaceful and rejuvenating stay for walkers and wildlife lovers. You can walk to the Devil's Punchbowl from the house. We saw so much wildlife just from the garden-deers, badgers, foxes, woodpeckers, herons, rabbits. The little house is very very clean and comfortable with lots of wonderful, thoughtful extras to make you feel very welcome. We didn't want to leave. Thank you.

I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. For two people and their dog (on it’s first holiday) it was perfect. The cottage is beautiful, the surrounding countryside is stunning and the host, Jane, is wonderful. We will be back!

What a fantastic place. Jane is an incredible host. I can only liken it to staying with a favourite relative, who wants to spoil you rotten. Lots of little treats not to mention the welcome hamper. Absolutely pristine with everything you could possibly need. There are walks literally from the back garden, and so many. Great for dog walks and so much more. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

The setting, the host, the accommodation and the little surprises made by Jane all exceeded our expectations. It is one of the most idyllic locations we've visited. Totally surrounded by amazing British wildlife and a choice of beautiful walks through the local forest - all of which helped to reset our batteries. They have thought of everything. The accommodation just doesn’t disappoint in any way. We already cannot wait to return.

Our stay at the little house was amazing, Jane is a lovely host and had left a welcome hamper with lots of lovely goodies, eggs from the chickens, that were lovely. Having the badgers and foxes to watch on the cam was such a joy to watch. Everything in the little house was perfect, all that you require and more. The garden was great for Luna the dog, who enjoyed looking through the fence at the chickens.. you won’t be disappointed, we shall definitely be returning.

The cottage has everything that you could need, is very clean and we had the warmest reception on arrival.
If you are after a cosy countryside retreat, it’s the perfect spot to explore the surrounding countryside and nearby villages and towns.

The little house was perfect for a little get away. It was clean, had all the amenities needed and Jane went out of her way to provide a bag of goodies for us and the dog. The garden is enclosed and not to close to the animals which was something we had struggled to find especially with a reactive dog with limited recall. The little house is surrounded by nature, pubs and lovely walks.Watching the animals on the monitor every night was such a unique experience. We could not recommend this place more and look forward to returning in the summer.

We stayed with Jane for a few days for my partners birthday which I mentioned to her prior, on arrival Jane was there to greet us and show us around the lovely little house, she also put up a happy birthday sign and left out a little cake for my partner which was a really nice touch, the area is quiet, it backs on to devils punch bowl which is a fantastic walk, also feeding her chickens and ducks, seeing the badgers on camera and friendly horses in the nearby field was lovely little touches we liked, our dog Baxter Also loved roaming around the secure garden, would recommend to anyone.

We had a lovely stay at the little house, everything was spotless and the house was beautiful! Jane was very responsive and gave us very clear instructions for the house. There was lots to do around, lots of different walks and pubs to visit which Jane had left directions too from where we were staying. It was very peaceful, we loved watching the chickens and ducks and the badger camera was so fun to watch at night. Will definitely be staying again soon!!!

Jane's little house was exactly as described and she went out of her way to be as helpful as possible. The extra little touches like a items for my wife's birthday and letting us know we can use as much wood as want made the stay relaxing and personal.
The grounds around the Little House are lovely, the resident ducks and chickens are great to see from the Little House doors. Seeing Badgers, Foxes and a Deer on the cameras made the stay even more interesting it was a great way to see nature without being too intrusive. My wife really appreciated the ability to see them all and not disturb them and we even got to see a Badger using the binoculars on the last night.
The walks nearby are all great and really can just head out for most of the day, including some pub stops and come back and relax with a fire inside or out. All of the information Jane gave use made the whole stay easier too as we knew exactly how to get there or where to go.

We had a very relaxing enjoyable stay at the the little house, the cabin was pristine clean and Jane provided lovely touches like a welcome basket full of goodies and a personal guide for the local area.
Feeding the the chickens and badger watching on the screen provided was a nice bonus and would highly recommend.

We came for the Punchbowl, which we revisit every now and again, so the location of The Little House was more than perfect with a short walk from the property onto The Punchbowl. Jane & Nick were fabulous hosts. Jane contacted me after booking with an email containing lots of useful local information. Jane welcomed us as we arrived with a warm smile and helpful attitude. The Little house was more than we had expected, cosy & homely and very comfortable and there is nothing you could need, The Little House is very well equipped. Every nights highlight was watching the badgers & foxes. Supplied with food for feeding the fish and chickens is a lovely touch too, we loved getting close to the chickens & ducks, and also the horses too… nosey horses 😂 This was a first class stay, there was nothing I would have changed, other than the weather but Jane isn’t responsible for that!! Follow Jane’s advice and download "Alltrails" if you’re thinking of exploring the Punchbowl, you’ll never be lost

Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at in the UK! Jane’s place is amazing, beautiful location and super cute cottage that is really well equipped. Lots of thoughtful touches, loved the welcome basket with fresh bread and treats, also for our dog. The location is perfect, great country walks straight from the cottage - we walked for miles and didn’t have to get on any roads or drive. And the badger set is the best thing ever! Can’t recommend this place enough, we had a fantastic time and been telling everyone about it. Please believe the hype, Jane’s place is brilliant.

TOP CLASS! Arrived home today feeling chilled out.. Place immaculate, welcome basket very welcome, underfloor heating is perfect, everything you can imagine is here, perfect host caters for everything! Wildlife? mesmerising ! I cannot wait to return in Spring 5 Star host.

This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Such a lovely cosy space and Jane has honestly thought of everything. Not only that but the surroundings are gorgeous and there are so many quiet dog walks around in the stunning countryside. We loved our stay at The Little House. It is very comfortable and stylishly furnished, in a lovely setting, perfect position to do walks in the Surrey hills straight from the door. Having the badger cameras helped us feel very close to nature and was an unusual bonus. Jane is very friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions on local walks and activities. The welcome tray of provisions for breakfast, including eggs from her hens, was perfect. We would love to visit again.

I had a wonderful peaceful few days here with my dog. The house was so cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Jane and Nick were lovely hosts and very welcoming and helpful. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Little Cottage. Being so close to London, yet completely immersed in the beautiful surroundings of Jane's cottage felt like a dream. I am planning to come back as soon as I can!

Just returned from a couple of days here and have already booked to come again. Jane is a fab host, there if you need anything but respects your privacy. Surroundings are amazing, badgers are an amazing bonus to watch and the woods surrounding the house makes for a lovely walk. Visited the local farm shop and cafe, food was yummy. Endless supply of logs for both log burner and fire pit. House was clean and the welcome tray of goodies, including bits in the fridge were a fab bonus.

We loved our stay at the little house! We stayed a few days and did some lovely walks which Jane had left some great recommendations for. The little house had everything we needed including some really thoughtful extra food treats which we really enjoyed. The highlight for us was the badger cam, we loved watching it in the evening. This has to be the nicest AirBnB we have stayed in! Location is wonderful, the accommodation is perfect, 5 stars all the way, the thought that has gone into every single item and soft furnishing is incredible and the little touches throughout are above and beyond. The home grown and locally sourced welcome basket is superb and was a real treat. The information that Jane and Nick have put together for all the local walks from the door is such a great idea and every detail is thought about. The badgers in their own habitat was amazing to see and being able to watch them from the badger cam was the excitement of the evening! The Little House is such a beautiful and peaceful escape. We took our dog here on his first holiday and had the best time. The booking and communication with Jane was easy and quick, the information that Jane provides before and in the accomodation, makes planning activities very easy too. The Little House is a true gem! Jane was a fantastic host- on site but very discrete. The accommodation was immaculate, with every little detail thought through. What can we say, Jane’s Little House was a perfect idyll on a busy weekend. Peaceful & private surroundings with lots of nature to watch (fish to feed, ducks & chickens & of course the badger set!) We’ve done quite a few airbnb stays and can honestly say this has been one of the best. Anything you think you could have forgotten, Jane had it covered. A kitchen fully stocked with everything you could need or want, a bathroom cabinet with all extras and finite details - even down to a sewing kit and pain relief. It’s a home away from home. Hosts were extremely responsive, so friendly and approachable! As involved as you need or want them to be. The location is idyllic - perfect walks straight out from the property, enclosed with beautiful fields and wildlife. The enclosed secure garden was perfect for the dog and your own piece of tranquility. All the thoughtful extras were not unnoticed! We celebrated our anniversary and had lovely extra home-made gifts and welcome basket along with the dogs own hamper with all necessities he would need - including a tick remover! Cannot recommend enough! Beautiful home, ideal location and wonderful hosts! Thank you!

The Little House is an exceptional AirBnB, offering a top quality experience. The property is beautifully appointed, and set in a lovely location within the Surrey Hills, but what makes it truly special are the hosts. Jane and Nick go the extra mile in all respects to make your visit as perfect as possible. The quality of the welcome basket is the best we have come across, as is the folder on local attractions, which inlcuded laminated maps of local walks, each one linked to All Trails for ease of use. We have never before come across such a comprehensive "in case you've forgotten something" box of bits and pieces and when we were struggling with accessing a local attraction due to my own physical limitations, Jane took it upon herself to take us there in person. All interactions with our hosts were warm and generous and we were delighted with our in person vieiwing of the badgers. We would recommend the Little House to other visitors without reservation.

If by any chance there was something more you needed, Jane & Nick would be straight on it to accommodate all your needs. The property and land is meticulously maintained, providing a calm & tranquil escape. The level of detail that Jane has gone to providing information on the local areas, places to eat, routes to walk etc did not go unnoticed & was extremely helpful and appreciated. It meant we didn’t have to “think” much if at all, whilst on our break! I could write so much more about this wonderful property and its amazing, friendly hosts, but it won’t do it justice and it’s just better to book it and visit. Jane and Nick were the perfect hosts our stay was so relaxing. All our visits were close and we have a lot of more interesting places to see, so Hopefully we will be back very soon for that paradise stay.

We’ve never been to an Airbnb which was so perfect as Jane and Nick’s little house. Literally everything was thought of. Even a basket with things for our dog (treats, blanket, leash and a tag to put on her collar with the holiday address on it. And… a basket with a lovely breakfast made from fresh products. The local walks were stunning, and every day brought a new view to admire. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and kind, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Our stay at The Little House was absolutely perfect! The property itself is beautiful — cozy, charming, and thoughtfully maintained. Jane and Nick were incredible hosts; they went above and beyond to make our visit special, even decorating for my birthday and putting together the most thoughtful welcome basket. Every detail felt so personal and kind. The surrounding wildlife was a real highlight for us — my partner, a photographer, was in his element capturing the stunning variety of animals, and I loved simply watching them in their natural setting. It truly felt like a peaceful little escape. We left feeling relaxed, cared for, we have already booked again for a mini break in November! Highly recommended!

More than you dare expect from a quiet cottage❣️ What a great place! Very clean and cozy. Everything you need (or have forgotten) is present. A bunch of flowers and what a treat to receive such a great welcome basket. Beautiful area for hiking and enjoying the beautiful nature. And as the icing on the cake, you can see the badgers, foxes, deer and rabbits appear in the evening. No longer in doubt, we would love to come back!!

What is there to say about this beautiful Airbnb & the people that own it……. WOW WOW WOW! Jane & Nick’s ‘The Little House’ is an absolute hidden gem that can only be described as 5*. We were met with such a warm welcome that instantly made you feel very at home & greatly valued by Jane & Nick. Set in beautiful, very private space where Jane & Nick live next door, were never intrusive but always there if you needed anything or like we did, many chats together. Everything was spotlessly clean, absolutely everything, so there is no need to worry. A lovely hamper stocked with various local & homemade items was a lovely touch & very much appreciated. Walks straight from the doorstep & endless wildlife visits from foxes, badgers, deer along with Jane & Nick’s chickens, ducks & doves made for a very special stay that we will always remember. A top class kitchen & bathroom with all you need & a bed that was so comfy with pristine linen. Thank you so much Jane & Nick, we miss it already x x

"The little house" exceeded all our expectations. Jane and Nick are wonderful hosts - warm, but never intrusive. The welcome tray with eggs from Jane's chickens and ducks, her own honey, homemade jam and other delicacies was simply fantastic. The house is lovingly, tastefully and very high-quality furnished - even the smallest things were thought of. Everything was also available for our dog and he received his own welcome box. What also distinguishes "The little house" is the Badger Cam and the beautifully landscaped garden. We loved watching the badgers and other wildlife in the evening. A farm shop is within walking distance, many pubs and attractions are nearby and Jane always had good tips on what to do. The cordiality of the hosts and the high standard of the house are unbeatable. We will be happy to come back!

One of our favourite Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in (and we’ve stayed in a lot!). The place had everything we needed, and the hosts were fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and great with communication. The property itself is stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature including fields, ponds, and animals. A real highlight was the live stream of the badger den to the TV—such a unique and memorable touch! The local area is full of excellent pubs, cafés, and scenic walks. We really appreciated all the thoughtful details and will definitely be back. couldn’t recommend this place more if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

We loved staying at The little house and had a lovely welcome when we arrived. The highlight for us was sitting by the wildlife pond, watching the badgers emerge for feeding time only a few metres away! The cabin itself was clean and comfortable and had everything you could need plus more. We enjoyed our vegan welcome treats, fresh orange juice and almond milk left for us too which was a really lovely touch. Can recommend The sculpture park 5mins down the road & Thursley common with is beautiful board walk. Thank you, we would love to return someday.

Simply Wow! This is by far the best AirBnB we have ever stayed in, and Jane has gone over and above to make stays perfect. The Little House is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The location is brilliant with the Devil's Punch bowl being walkable from the house, equally the garden and wildlife is incredible (we loved watching the badgers in the evening). Overall this is a fantastic place to stay and we would highly recommend.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Jane & Nick have gone above and beyond to make this place so special. From the gorgeous welcome hamper full of local farm shop goodies to the birthday banner.. they had simply thought of every little thing that we could possibly need. Will definitely be back.

Our stay was amazing, and we were looked after really well! It’s a beautiful spot, with views and a peaceful ambience. The badger cam was brilliant, and we utilised the binoculars to have a great view of a deer taking a paddle in the pond! We will 100% look to come back for a second visit!

Don’t contemplate, just book. This amazing little house is beyond expectation. It is the Ritz of air b&b. The location, property, amenities and most importantly the host are 10/10++ Jane has thought of everything and more, and put it into this place. The welcome pack is next level with fresh produce from Jane’s chickens, ducks, bees and garden as well as the local farm shop. The badger cam offers great entertainment as you sit in luxury and relax with a cuppa and a treat from the welcome tray. The bed is super comfy with crisp luxury bedding whilst the bathroom is fully equipped with everything you need apart from your toothbrush and toothpaste. With a barbecue and a fire pit to hand, and marshmallows from the welcome pack, you can indulge in the great outdoors whilst taking in the super views. We can’t wait to revisit and our only regret is that we didn’t book for longer. The hospitality that Jane and nick offered was exceptional and friendly but also respectful of our privacy.

The little house is in an idyllic location in the Surrey's. Wildlife at the doorstep, almost literally. The badgers nearby are the stars of the show, obviously, but we could also see foxes and Jane's farm animals. As city dwellers, we felt like being in heavenly countryside. Jane and Nick provide you with a perfect accomodation, farm eggs and other fresh products, and many other details that show kindness and attention. 5-star experience!

Thank you Jane and Nick for a wonderful weekend. Our only regret was that we weren't staying longer! An absolutely flawless little place; ideal for a couples retreat. All of the little touches and the generosity of the hosts makes this an absolute must stay, and possibly the nicest place we've stayed. A bit like a really great, but very exclusive hotel in the middle of the countryside! Despite the short time Jane and Nick have been hosting, they are already absolute pros, making the getaway really special and stress-free. They strike the perfect balance of friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The Little House is beautifully and cleverly appointed incorporating everything you could need and more! All of the provided local info etc. was extremely useful in planning leisurely days in the surrounding countryside. Though our favourite times were spending time at the house in the beautiful, peaceful garden. Can't recommend highly enough - there's no doubt we'll be back!

My partner and I couldn’t have ask for a better trip to celebrate our 10 year anniversary together! It was exactly what we needed and was so grateful to have some quality time together and we couldn’t be more thankful as to how great Jane and Nick were! We hope to be back again soon!!

We had a wonderful stay at The Little House. The accommodation itself is beautiful and the surroundings are so peaceful. Jane was an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed. Our Cavalier Honey even had her own welcome basket, alongside the beautiful one put together for us humans, with fresh bread, Easter treats and eggs from their hens and ducks! Every detail was well thought out at the Little House, could not recommend it enough.

Jane has really made 'The Little House' something very special. You will never be treated like more of a treasured guest than when you stay here - robes, blankets, little touches, thoughtful pragmatic things in the kitchen, excellent heating and facilities, outdoor lights, a torch - that's all without mentioning the badger cam which I didn't turn off once. If you're really lucky you might be visiting on cake baking day! My dog immediately relaxed which she doesn't normally do probably because I relaxed - peaceful, safe, easy to find your way around to local sites and then retreat back to your peaceful haven. We'll be back!
